Most of us have heard about the great benefits of coconut oil. How it’s good for your health and great for cooking etc. That it’s full of nutrients and so on. But not everyone knows the ways in which you can use coconut oil to enhance your natural beauty! And that’s what I love about coconut oil! It can be used for so many things. Below I have listed 10 different beauty products that coconut oil can be used for!
HAIR MASK- This is my favourite and works so well. I usually just put through the ends of my hair and put it in a plait. In the morning when I take it out the hair has absorbed the oil and has noticeably reduced dryness.
SHAVING CREAM- I have been trailing this for the past few weeks and have really noticed the softness on my skin after shaving and have had less irritation.
MAKEUP REMOVER- This was the first thing I tried after buying my coconut oil. I had run out of my makeup remover so decided to give it a go.. And to my surprise it worked quite well. Just put some on a cotton pad and rub off makeup as usual.. Make sure to wash your face to remove makeup residue.
CUTICLE SOFTENER- Just rub a small amount over cuticles and nails before bed. It will prevent hangnails and soften the skin and strengthen your nails.
MASSAGE OIL- Treat someone special with a massage. Your hands will benefit from the coconut oil at the same time their back will!
MOISTURISER- A small amount of coconut oil goes a long way, rub into skin after a shower and you will notice how amazing your skin looks and feels. It is also known to get rid of cellulite!
HAIR OIL- For those frizzy days. Dip fingers in coconut oil and rub through hair.. For me that is most days!
LIP BALM- By applying a small amount of coconut oil to your lips you will protect them from sun damage and will help keep them smooth.
TANNING OIL- Coconut oil has a natural SPF of 4-6. Great for tanning and keeping your skin hydrated in the warmer weather.
HAND CREAM- When you have dry hands, a small amount of coconut oil will rehydrate and soften your skin. Great after a hard days work.
Coconut oil can be purchased at a health food shop or your local supermarket. They come in a variety of sizes but all do the same thing. Every beauty lover should have a jar close by. You never know when you might need it!
