To be honest I had never heard of Isabel and Ruben Toledo until I stumbled across sneak peeks of their new Mac collection. The first thing that caught my eye was the cute and quirky limited addition packaging. I had to find out more!

Ruben Toledo is a New York based artist who has illustrated for clients like Nordstrom, Barneys New York and Louis Vuitton.

As soon as I found out that the lipsticks had the soft feel rubber packaging like Nars I knew I had to have one.. Oxblood sold out in minutes both in the US and in AUS, so I missed out on that. I am not much of a Reds girl but I decided to go with Tenor voice. I picked this as I don’t have many wearable classic reds in my collection.. Plus it matches the red lips on the packaging!
