BLOGGERS UNITED AU – HALLOWEEN SWAP BOX UNBOXING

I can’t think of anything more exciting than receiving a package of surprise beauty products from someone you’ve never met before. I’m always up for trying something new and am always happy to see my postie arrive with a parcel in his hand!

During October @bloggersunitedau from Instagram hosted a Halloween beauty swap. A bunch of bloggers signed up and answered a few short survey questions outlining their likes and dislikes. We were then randomly matched with a swap buddy. Over a few weeks we were able to chat with our new friends and get to know them a little better.

My swap buddy was @stephaaannnie. A qualified makeup artist from the Central Coast, NSW. She’s such a beautiful girl and I really enjoyed chatting with her and picking out some awesome products to send in her Halloween swap box!

The suspense was killing me waiting for my swap box from @stephaaannnie to arrive. And I think she was just as excited as I was! When it arrived I pretty much snatched it off the postie and ran inside squealing like a girl! Haha
Here’s what I got!

Be Indulged Copper Cosmetic Bag
How cute is it! I have really been loving the copper trend lately and really love the look of this makeup bag. The size is really handy too!

Yegz Eyelashes 5pk
I can actually remember commenting on one of Steph’s posts on Instagram months ago asking where she bought these lashes from and was gonna buy some for myself! They are cheap off Ebay but have heard they are great! I can’t wait to try them!

Real-U Control+ Face Gel Sample
I have recently tried the Cleanser and Light Moisturiser from Real-U and found them to really clear my skin up. The face gel will be great to add into my night skin care routine. Plus I can’t resist cute mini sized product samples!

Benefit Silky Powder Eyeshadow (Getaway)
Wow! Steph really did spoil me! A brand I have always admired and only ever purchased a few products from. I love wearing brown eyeshadows but don’t often lash out on good ones. I will definitely be wearing eyeshadow more often now!

Me Now Generation 2 Long Lasting Lip glosses (16 & 17)
I have heard about these liquid lipsticks and have always wanted to try them but have been a bit scared! They can be bought on Ebay for around $1 and have a large variety of shades. I found the formula to be better than expected and lasted well on my lips.

Essence Lipliners (06 Satin Mauve & 11 In The Nude)
I was pleased to find these 2 in my bag as I my lip liner collection is really sad. To be honest I rarely use lipliner but would love to wear it more often. Both shades look nice and very wearable.

Nutrimetics Lip Lightning Lip Gloss (Blush Rose)
Now this looks like a fancy lipgloss! And yep it is! It’s one of those with the little lights under the lid! I don’t own any nitro metics products but I love this. The shade, the lights the everything!

Essence Longlasting Lipstick (02 Porcelain Doll)
Another nude to add to the collection! You can never have too many right? This shade is perfect for me. I actually wore this to work straight after opening my package. I have never bought Essence products before because I was unsure of their quality. Boy was I wrong! The lipstick was great and I love the packaging too!

I was over the moon with everything I received in my Halloween swap box and couldn’t thank Steph enough! She really made an effort to pick out products that I would like. She even included a beautiful hand written note!
