BLOGGERS UNITED AU MELBOURNE 2016 EVENT HAUL

Turns out luck was on my side when I opened an email from the lovely girls who run  @bloggersunitedau offering me a spot to their sell out in seconds Melbourne event. You could say I was a tad excited after reading all about their previous events on Instagram.

For those who are not familiar with Bloggers United Au, they are a not for profit organisation who run events for bloggers, vloggers and social media gurus to connect with brands and support each other.

This was their second event to be held at their home town of Melbourne and boy was it a ripper. Held at St Kilda’s 5 star Royce Hotel from the moment I walked in I was impressed.

The first room was set up with 8 different brands who were showcasing their products for the event. We were able to talk with them one on one and try their products in our own time which was great.

The second room was used for the guest presenters. The passionate @cherie_bobbins talked to us about making media kits and how to monetise our blogs. While @flatbummum showed us how the use of hashtags can help grow communities and followers on Instagram.

Catering was provided and between trying products we could chat amongst ourselves and finally meet our Insta friends in real life! We also had fun taking photos with the Bloggers United Au Instagram card cutout and helium balloons!

  
Now to what you’ve been waiting for the glorious Bloggers United haul! Along with the brands that attended the event we were also gifted products to try from various other brands. To say we were spoilt is an understatement. We went home with makeup, skincare, hair products, books and even food/drinks to try. Im glad I didn’t catch the train as there is no way I could carry everything that far
