APRIL FAVOURITES

  
I can’t believe how quickly April went by! It is always a busy and exciting month for me as it’s my sons birthday, Easter and school holidays all in one!

When I wasn’t running around hiding Easter eggs and organising birthday parties I was in front of my vanity playing makeup!

Here are my monthly favourites- (Better late than never!)

HIBISCUS•OXBLOOD•NO FAUX PAS NEW ADDITIONS TO MY LIMITED EDITION MAC LIPSTICK COLLECTION

  

Mac limited edition lipsticks are my weakness. I have made it my mission to try and collect a lipstick from each collection I can. (Affordable ones any way! Playboy and Heatherette will have to wait!) I don’t know whether it is their good looks, their unique shades or that they play hard to get. All I know is I want more!

MAC SURF BABY- HIBISCUS is a brightened, medium-dark red-coral with soft gold shimmer. It has a cremesheen finish.

MAC ISABEL & RUBEN TOLEDO – OXBLOOD is described as a “light peachy nude [with a Matte finish].” It’s a light-medium, peachy-brown with a hint of pink with a semi-matte finish.

MAC HEIRLOOM MIX – NO FAUX PAS is described as a “hot pink [with a Matte finish].” It’s a bright, fuchsia-red with cool, blue undertones and a matte finish.

OPI HAWAII•RIMMEL RADIANCE BB CREAM & LASTING FINISH POWDER NEW RELEASE PRODUCTS I TRIED THIS MONTH 

I was lucky enough to be sent these products to try and review this month. I love surprises in the mail and am always excited to try something new!

LITTLE HULAS MINI NAIL LACQUERS OPI HAWAII COLLECTION

This little collection of fresh bright colours was perfect to sample the new range from OPI. I just love mini products they are so cute and convenient. Shades are Suzi shops & Island hops, That’s hula-rious, Lost my bikini in Molokini and Aloha from OPI. The polishes had a good formula, were long lasting and of expected quality from the world leader in nail polishes. My favourites were the pink and green!

  

RIMMEL RADIANCE BB CREAM MEDIUM

I quickly fell in love with this super makeup from Rimmel. It’s much more than a regular BB cream! I found it to have great coverage and give a beautiful glow. It was my first pick on my no makeup days.

RIMMEL LASTING FINISH 25HOUR POWDER FOUNDATION 02 SOFT BEIGE

I have never really liked powdered foundation and find they don’t work well on their own. I used this product as a setting powder for my foundation and found it to work quite well.. It was light enough to brighten the face and wasn’t cakey. With a quick sweep of a powder brush you can turn your dewy finish into a matte finish.
